Advanced Wound Management
SilverStream® Solution is a highly effective, professional-grade wound management solution. It is clinically indicated for the cleansing, moisturizing, and soothing of a broad spectrum of acute and chronic conditions, performing multiple functions to accelerate the physiological healing process:
- Diabetic Foot Ulcers (DFU): Accelerates wound closure and manages infection in high-risk patients with diabetic wounds.
- Pressure Ulcers (Stage I-IV): Facilitates the continuous debridement of bed sores and prevents the progression of deep tissue injury.
- Chronic & Non-Healing Wounds: Effectively manages Stasis (Venous) Ulcers and other chronic sores that have stalled in the inflammatory phase.
- Surgical Wounds: Promotes rapid granulation and provides superior management for Post-Surgical Ulcers and incisions.
- Burns: Specially formulated for 1st & 2nd-degree burns, ensuring the area remains moist and protected from microbial contamination.
- Minor Skin Trauma: Provides immediate care for Cuts, Abrasions, and Minor Skin Irritations, soothing the tissue while preventing infection.
SilverStream® contains Antimicrobial Silver Ions for the Treatment of chronic and non-healing wounds.
SilverStream’s innovative synergetic formulation ensures an effective anti-microbial preservative, as well as a biofilm destruction function. SilverStream Solutions:

This weekend, my 16‑year‑old son burned his face applying salicylic acid. It quickly reddened and swelled and looked infected, his aunt—an RNP—suspected impetigo. But with dermatologist offices closed and this being on his face, her prescription plan was a risk we felt uncomfortable taking. That’s when his father suggested SilverStream. He said if it's a bacterial infection or a fungus, SilverStream should stop both from replicating and one of its main uses is burn healing. So it should address all 3 problems, with that advice we chose to use SilverStream instead of the prescription impetigo cream. We figured we would try this until the dermatologist offices open on Monday. The results blew our minds! These are images of before and 4hrs after applying SilverStream, then 24hrs and 48hrs after. All we used was SilverStream and sterile gauze. Thank you GWHP for making this amazing product available in the states! Sincerely an extremely happy mom/customer from Covina, CA
Why SilverStream® Outperforms Traditional Care:
Antimicrobial action: Silver-based wound care is proven to reduce infection and support healing in burns and ulcers.
- Antimicrobial Action: Unlike standard cleansers, silver-based wound care is clinically proven to reduce infection and support healing in high-risk burns and ulcers.
- Gentle on Tissue: Traditional treatments like silver sulfadiazine may delay epithelialization; SilverStream® is specifically designed to promote regeneration without inhibiting cellular growth.
- Convenience and Comfort: Its odorless and pain-relieving properties make it a superior choice for home-health agencies and patients when medical offices are closed.
Our unique one-step process performs the following functions on all applications and thus accelerates the healing process while keeping the wound free of infection.
Reactivates Prompt Healing
Promotes & Balances Moisture
Strong Anti-Microbial Efficacy
Soothing Effect during the Treatment
Proven Efficacy and Safety
Maintains Non-toxic and Non-cytotoxic, No Argyria, No Environment Coloring and No Staining
Mechanism of Action
| Ingredient | Action | Description |
|---|---|---|
| Ag NO3 | Preservative & Anti-microbial agent | Ionic silver kills on contact and inhibits the growth of bacteria, yeast, and fungi |
| Menthol | Penetration enhancer, Growth promoter, Pain reliever, Odor fighter | Enhances ionic silver antimicrobial activities and fights wound odor Promotes granulation tissue growth by vasodilatation |
| Tween 20 | Surfactant and Detergent | Enhances solution penetration into the biofilm Acts as wound cleansing detergent |
| Glycerol | A hypertonic aqueous solution that prevents macerations Soothing agent | Aids mechanical removal of exudates and microorganisms Creates Hydrogel function by absorbing water molecules |
| Tris Buffer | Buffered neutral pH | Biocompatible to physiological pH |
How It Works
SilverStream® is a patented wound management solution, that combines a low concentration of silver ions, menthol, and glycerol plus a surfactant, dissolved in a hypertonic solution.
SilverStream® specialized synergistic combination of silver ions and menthol reduces the concentration level of the silver ions – to well below the cytotoxic threshold.
The high concentration of the hygroscopic glycerol provides hydrogel effects.
Gentle Patient Care & Ease of Use. No Coloring, Staining or Argyria, Eliminates Odor, Reduces Pain, Prevents Maceration, and Reduces the Treatment Period.
Accelerates Wound Healing
Reduces Treatment Period
Long Term Clinical Efficiency
Reduce overall Treatment Costs
What makes SilverStream far more effective in closing wounds more rapidly than other formulations?
The unique combination of SilverStream’s ingredients and their non-toxic, non-cytotoxic properties, stimulate the growth of granulation tissue. SilverStream prevents maceration and facilitates the absorption and reduction of exudates while keeping the wound moist for longer periods (due to the hydrogel property) thus accelerating the wound healing process.
1. Provides Continuous Debridement, Reduces Inflammation, Promotes Blood Circulation, & Stimulates Tissue Granulation.
2. Promotes & Balances Moisture, Penetrates Deeper into the Wound Surface, Facilitates the Absorption & Reduction of Exudates, Prevents Maceration.
3. Destroys Biofilm, Prevents Re-Infection; No Bacterial Resistance, Inhibits the Growth of Bacteria, Yeast, and Fungi.
4. Soothing Effect during the Treatment, Reduces Pain & Eliminates Odor, Improves Look & Appearance of Skin.
5. Non toxic, Non cytotoxic, No Argyria, No Coloring & No Staining.
Why does a low concentration of silver ions effectively function as an anti-microbial preservative in the presence of menthol?
